William M. Trently, author of The World is Around You, but You are in Your Car (2009), Snapshot: Ship's Dentists (2011), Yes, You Are Home (2014), and Zoa's Arks (2023), was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. He received a BS in biology from the University of Scranton and D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an Eagle Scout and U.S. Navy veteran, and currently resides in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire.
