 William M. Trently, author of The World is Around You, but You are in Your Car (2009), Snapshot: Ship's Dentists (2011), Yes, You Are Home (2014), and Zoa's Arks (2023), received a BS in biology from the University of Scranton and DMD from the University of Pittsburgh, is an Eagle Scout and U.S. Navy veteran, and served on the board of the New Hampshire Animal Rights League. Born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, he currently lives in Seacoast New Hampshire. He was the accordionist for the Polkasonics Orchestra, appearing on their two studio album recordings (We Love Polkas and Dances You Can’t Refuse), and has performed solo at the Accordions Now Music Festival, Ring It In Raymond, Exeter Inn Open Mic, Raymond Arts Variety Show, Stratham SPCA, and Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Manchester, among other venues. He also provided introductory music for Portsmouth’s African Reburial Ground Ancestral Vigil Sunrise Service. He performs originals and world music, especially Eastern European.
